Jacqueline Laurita rejects ‘RHONJ’ return offer
Jacqueline Laurita won’t be returning to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” after all.
“She talked to producers and they couldn’t give her what she wanted, so she passed,” an insider told Page Six on Friday.
The insider noted that the show was extremely “stressful” for the mother of three to shoot.
Bravo denied that producers met with Laurita and that she rejected their offer, telling us, “This is absolutely not true.”
Laurita, 47, was an original “Housewife” when “RHONJ” premiered in 2009. During the show’s sixth season in 2014, she minimized her role to only appear as a friend of the cast, but returned in a full-time capacity for Season 7 in 2016. She quit the show before its eighth season.
Laurita’s friend Siggy Flicker quit the series at the end of the eighth season. Bravo hasn’t announced her replacement yet.
“RHONJ” started filming its ninth season earlier this week with Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs. A source previously told Page Six that Danielle Staub could be promoted to a full-time “Housewife” this season.
Laurita’s rep couldn’t be reached.
